What the forum will be

A self-hosted, UK-anchored peer space — thoughtful written conversation rather than real-time chat. One identity across the site and the forum (you log in once). Categories for aphantasia, SDAM, families and partners, research discussion, and UK regional sub-communities so people can find meet-ups where they live.

Why it is not here yet

A good forum is moderated carefully from day one. That takes a small number of trusted people, clear community guidelines, and enough seed members that the first posts do not sit there alone. We are putting those pieces in place now rather than launching half a forum and apologising for it later.

Practically, that means the forum opens later in 2026.

What to do in the meantime

• Read the cornerstone guide. It is written to sit alongside you for a while.
• Subscribe below. When the forum opens we will send one email; it will go only to people who have signed up.
• If you want to be part of the first small group of seed members, write to us via the about page. We are assembling a handful of people now rather than opening cold later.
