One email, once a month. What shifted in the research. What we published on the site. That is the whole promise — no other sends, no marketing, no tracking, no ads.

We use double opt-in: after you enter your address you will get an email asking you to confirm. Unsubscribing is one click from any issue.

What you get

  • A plain-English summary of any new research-tracker post from the past month.
  • Short notes on changes to the site — new cornerstone sections, new glossary entries, material correction notes.
  • Occasional pointers to UK research studies recruiting participants. These are flagged clearly so you can skip them if not interested.

What you will not get

  • More than one email per month, except in very rare cases (a significant correction, or an urgent UK study with a short recruitment window).
  • Any other sender using your address.
  • Any third-party tracking pixels, click tracking, or open tracking.

How it is run

The newsletter is sent via Buttondown — a small, independent, privacy-respecting newsletter host. Your address is stored there and nowhere else. You can export or delete it at any time by emailing [email protected].
